Project/Campaign Objective(s)
Biparn Enterprise is an Indigenous owned business that provides security and cleaning services across the Pilbara and Western Australia. They have a strong focus on supporting Indigenous employment and community development.
The issue was that Biparn did not have a strong, well presented capabilities statement to clearly showcase their expertise and strengths. This made it difficult for them to stand out and be seen as a credible, competitive choice when applying for tender opportunities.
Our objective was to create a capabilities statement that would position Biparn as a competitive contender for tender opportunities in the retail, commercial and property sectors.
Strategy
The strategy was to use clear, concise messaging and a compelling design to highlight Biparn’s dual focus on delivering exceptional services and driving positive social impact.
Special attention was given to showcasing their local expertise, their impact on Indigenous communities and their commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
Target Audience
The Pilbara is home to a rich and vibrant Indigenous community with deep cultural and historical ties to the land. Engaging a provider like Biparn, which understands and respects the needs of this community, is crucial for stakeholders who value fostering local relationships and promoting socially responsible practices.
The capabilities statement was targeted at procurement managers, facility directors and operations leaders in the retail, commercial and property sectors seeking sustainable and community focused solutions.
Execution
The development of the capabilities statement followed a clear process:
- Planning: We consulted with Biparn to understand their operations in security and cleaning, their commitment to fostering Indigenous employment and their broader business goals. These insights were used to create a capabilities brochure that highlighted Biparn’s unique strengths while meeting the expectations of the intended target market.
- Design: A professional design with a clean layout and culturally relevant elements reflected Biparn’s identity and original roots. Visual tools like icons and infographics were also used as well as high quality images to emphasise the company’s ties to the Pilbara.
Results and outcomes of Project/Campaign
- The brochure became a pivotal asset for tendering opportunities as it provided a polished and professional representation of Biparn’s capabilities. Feedback from procurement managers highlighted the brochure’s clear messaging and strong emphasis on Indigenous community engagement as standout elements.
- In the months following its release, the capabilities statement played a significant role in increasing tender success rates. Biparn secured several key contracts in the retail and commercial sector. The digital version of the brochure was also widely shared via email, allowing Biparn to expand its reach and build brand credibility with new audiences across Western Australia.
- The capabilities statement also strengthened Biparn’s brand identity. It was frequently referenced in client discussions as a reflection of their professionalism and values and positioned the company as a trusted and socially responsible partner. The brochure has been credited with contributing to a marked increase in new business enquiries.
