Project/Campaign Objective(s)
The problem was that the Airadvice needed a professional, on brand document to support their tender submission, but lacked a visually engaging and cohesive presentation that clearly communicated their strengths. They faced a strict deadline, requiring a high-quality solution delivered quickly to meet their tendering schedule.
So, we provided a capabilities statement, which is an essential tool for showcasing expertise and supporting tendering opportunities. For Airadvice, the brochure was designed to professionally communicate the company’s air conditioning solutions by highlighting their services, experience and industry leadership.
Strategy
The strategy was to design a concise and impactful brochure that effectively communicated the company’s expertise in air conditioning services.
With a short turnaround for delivery, our strategy focused on pre-planning the layout, prioritising essential content and using readily available brand assets to ensure we could meet the client’s deadline without compromising on quality.
Target Audience
Airadvice is a Sydney, NSW based company that delivers HVAC&R (air conditioning and refrigeration) installation and maintenance services to a range of industries including government departments, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, retail outlets and manufacturing.
The capabilities brochure was targeted at procurement managers, facility managers and operations directors within these sectors who are responsible for selecting a HVAC&R partner through the tendering process.
Execution
- Planning: An initial consultation was arranged to understand the client’s goals and vision. We also reviewed past marketing materials to identify content gaps and strengths.
- Content development: We created clear and compelling copy that effectively communicated Airadvice’s air quality solutions, technical expertise and unique value proposition. The messaging was tailored to resonate with tender evaluators.
- Design: We used InDesign and collaborative tools like Google Drive and Dropbox for easy communication and feedback. We incorporated icons and graphics to simplify complex technical information.
- Production: The brochure was quickly produced to ensure Airadvice could use it for an important tender submission. A digital version was also created, providing flexibility for other marketing and client presentations.
Results and outcomes of Project/Campaign
The brochure was a critical tool in Airadvice’s immediate efforts to secure a key contract. Despite being developed under a tight deadline, the professional design and clear messaging allowed Airadvice to tender successfully for the targeted project. This marked a significant win and also set the tone for future tender submissions.
The brochure’s polished presentation has also resonated with clients, strengthening Airadvice’s brand perception and demonstrating its capabilities.
Beyond the initial tender, the brochure has proved versatile in being used for other marketing contexts such as client presentations and business development initiatives.
